We’re spotlighting Seattle’s new Unity Loop, a premier legacy project of FIFA World Cup 26™ that invites participants to run or walk 3.1 miles on their own time while exploring the connective path of downtown neighborhoods.
Complete your 5K anytime between May 16 and July 15 and be part of a citywide celebration of movement, community, and Seattle’s growing role on the global sports stage. The Unity Loop connects Seattle’s stadiums, waterfront, commercial core, and surrounding neighborhoods as part of a larger effort to showcase the city before 2026.

1. Run or walk 3.1 miles of Seattle’s Unity Loop (or complete your 5K from anywhere) by July 15
2. Track your finish time.
3. Submit the result to complete the challenge and celebrate your finish!

The Unity Loop Explained
The Unity Loop connects the best of Seattle. As Seattle prepares to welcome the world in 2026, the Unity Loop and its accompanying mobile app SEA&WIN provide residents and guests with a way to explore more of the small businesses, public art, restaurants, and cultural highlights that make the Emerald City sparkle.
Connecting the Stadiums, Waterfront, and Commercial Core with the Central District, Capitol Hill, Chinatown—International District, Pioneer Square, and SODO, the Unity Loop is a SeattleFWC26 Legacy Project to broaden the benefit of hosting large events so that more neighborhoods and more small businesses share the prosperity.
Soccer is a team sport, and the Unity Loop celebrates the remarkable team of people and communities that makes Seattle so special. Residents and visitors alike can get in the loop and connect with the best Seattle has to offer.
