Steady, sturdy and stout. ... That describes Jeff Bryant, an end on the Seahawks’ first dominating defensive line. He played twelve seasons -- from 1982 to 1993 – and started all but eight of his 175 games. A first-round draft choice out of Clemson, he helped the Seahawks make the playoffs for the first time and had a breakout season in his third year when he recorded a career-high 14-and-a-half sacks. That made him a second-team All-Pro, on his way to being named one of the Top 50 Seahawks in the team’s first 50 years.
