Yvonne Ejim

Ejim set new standards for the Zags in her final season, racking up numerous career records. She’s been both a prolific scorer and rebounder, but even more so in her final season. As hero coach put it, “This year we are witnessing greatness.”

• West Coast Conference Player of the Year for second straight season  

• Scored the most career points in Gonzaga history, men’s and women’s

• Set the women’s school record for most career rebounds

• Set the women’s school record for best career field-goal percentage

The list goes on for the 6-foot-1 power forward. Ejim played five seasons, but didn’t get really rolling until her third season. From then on, she was virtually unstoppable. She broke the school career rebounding record in January. She broke the scoring record for women in February. She broke the men’s record in March. In her final season, she scored a record 726 points.
