The junior breaststroker had the best season in program history, winning multiple honors in both individual events and relays and leading WSU to its first unbeaten season.

Lundgren was the driving force in the Cougars’ 8-0 season and impressive showing at the conference championships where she won the 200 individual medley and 200 breast events, helped the 200 and 400 medley relays to wins and was named the swimmer of the year. She was named an All-American in two events (100 Breast, 200 Breast) and posted the best finish by a Cougar at an NCAA Championships in program history after finishing sixth in the 200 breast. Along with setting four individual and three relay school records, she also earned Academic All-America honors while majoring in Digital Technology and Culture.
