
Cristian Roldan
Roldan made his eleventh season since being drafted out of the University of Washington by far his best. The veteran midfielder shifted inside from wing, covering more of the field, and went from solid to standout.

Sounders FC had its most challenging season, playing a franchise-record 50 matches. Roldan was a steadying influence, helping the team win the Leagues Cup, make the MLS playoffs, and battle the world’s top teams in the FIFA Club World Cup. He led the squad with 14 assists for the year and played the most league minutes – all while having six call-ups to the USMNT.
