During the 2025 season, Buoy continued to elevate the role of mascot from entertainment to engagement engine, leaving a lasting impact both inside Climate Pledge Arena and across our digital platforms. Buoy's spirited antics and real-time reactions became a much-loved part of the game day experience, connecting fans of all ages and bridging communities across the PNW and beyond. Fans often shared that Buoy was a highlight of their experience, especially families and newcomers eager to embrace the thrill of live hockey. Viral moments included the now-infamous grizzly bear encounter while fly fishing in Alaska during “Kraken Week”

One of Buoy’s most heartfelt contributions came through the second annual “Buoy Friendsgiving” — a holiday-themed community event held at Lowell Elementary School where Buoy helped distribute groceries and Amazon Fresh gift cards to families facing food insecurity. Over 1,200 individuals received support through this event. Purposeful Community Service: Acting as a friendly face for charitable initiatives, an ambassador for youth development and accessibility, breaking down barriers to a traditionally less accessible sport in remote regions.
