SSC Commissioners are passionate about the Greater Seattle sports community and want to influence and support sporting events that come to our region. Commissioner members receive valuable benefits throughout the year including:
Quarterly Commissioner meetings with inside track on event bids and hosting opportunities, as well as youth and amateur sports events taking place in our region.
Access to athletes, coaches and sports leaders

Annual Membership Fee of $3,500
Applications for membership are reviewed monthly by the SSC Board of Directors.
VOLUNTEER
SSC is building a volunteer program to support the logistical needs of SSC annual signature events like Women’s Leadership Breakfast, SSC Open Golf Tournament and Sports Star of the Year Awards Show, as well as hosted events such as NCAA championships, and youth, amateur and professional sporting events.

WHO WE ARE:
The Seattle Sports Commission (SSC) is proud to be a cornerstone for sports and sports-related activities in the Greater Seattle Region. We believe our city stands for the best of what a destination has to offer thanks to Seattle’s wide selection of venues, facilities, hotels and world-class attractions. Combined with our team’s proven performance and collaborative partnership throughout the duration of an event, we strive to guarantee a successful, memorable experience from start to finish.
We are committed to establishing strong relationships with Seattle pro franchise teams and university athletic departments, organizations, groups and individuals in sporting and non-sporting industries. This enterprise of key sports, business, government and civic leaders, and sports constituencies serves as an intersection to take an event to the next level by providing added exposure, support and visibility.
These collaborative relationships also allow us to facilitate logistical and operational support an event requires. Our team works closely with local and state entities to secure permits and approvals. Our professional partnerships with numerous vendors ensure the highest quality of output at preferred rates. And we work hand in hand with Visit Seattle, our Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, to find the best hospitality for an event at competitive rates.
