The Seattle Sports & Events Fund (SSEF) was created to evaluate, create, attract and promote regional, national and international amateur sports and recreational events to the Puget Sound Region.  The goal of the SSEF is to promote health and fitness in the region, encourage participation in amateur sports, recreation and events.  The results will be healthier lifestyles and an improved quality of life for Washington residents.  It will accomplish this by fostering the growth of amateur athletic competitions and events in the region. The SSEF is a non-profit 501 c 3 organization and your donations are fully tax deductible.

The SSEF will promote health and fitness in the community by:

• Supporting amateur athletics through local sports and recreation organizations.
• Producing events that promote health and fitness or provide an opportunity for residents to participate in sports or recreational activities.  
• Partner with nonprofit organizations such as the USOC, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA), Amateur Softball Association (ASA) and others to bring amateur sporting events to the region.
